2016 NJNAHRO INTERN

Ranger Rand –

Ranger is a college intern at Secaucus Housing Authority.  He is currently enrolled at Rowan University where he is studying accounting and finance.  He was employed at the Housing Authority last summer where he worked in the maintenance department.  Ranger is spending his time in the office this summer to learn other aspects of the housing industry.  He is looking forward to applying his studies in accounting in a real life business application.

 

 

 

2014 NJNAHRO Interns

Hackensack – Miles LeSane Hunt.  Miles has been working during school breaks for the Housing Authority for several years now.  An athlete from Hackensack High School, he has also volunteered his time to the Community at the local library.  He is  currently pursuing a major in criminal justice while attending  Lincoln University.  Miles enjoys helping families and is grateful for the invaluable experience that he is learning in the maintenance department of the Housing Authority.

Secaucus – Ashlee Amancha.  Ashlee is studying accounting at the College of New Jersey.  She is currently working as a library manager for the college.  In May 2013 Ashlee was a volunteer with Project Homecoming in New Orleans, where she assisted in the restoration of homes affected by Hurricane Katrina.   Ashlee is very interested in working at the Housing Authority, where she has volunteered with the seniors of their buildings while she was in high school.

Passaic County – Zachary Klein.  Zachary is attending George Washington University with a major in philosophy and a concentration in public affairs.   In 2013, he served as a legislative and press intern for the office of U.S. Senator Max Baucus.  During the internship, Zachary researched the effects of public housing policy on constituents.  He is looking forward to an experience working at the local level in the Housing Agency.

 

2015 NJNAHRO INTERNS

 Hackensack – Miles LeSane Hunt.  Miles has been working for the Hackensack Housing Authority throughout his school years.  He is maintaining a 3.11 GPA at The Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and has a strong interest in law enforcement.  He is also involved in the Boys to Men Mentoring Organization.  At the Housing Authority, he feels he is learning something new every day, and at the same time, he is provided with an opportunity to help people.

 Hackensack – Reco Antonio Facey.  Reco attends the American International College in Massachusetts where he is studying Criminal Justice.  He works with the YMCA near his school where he mentors troubled teens and tutors.  He is interested in learning about the housing industry and how it may relate to his future career.
